The
Crimson institute was set up to address the
emergent need for improved English language education. We
believe that today and in the future, an understanding of
functional English will be a necessity for most people, and
especially so for the new generation of the Indian workforce
aspiring to play a part in the global economy. We believe
that along with technical expertise and academic prowess,
language and communication skills can serve as an effective
tool in one’s career advancement.
Crimson is the first
company in India to develop English
language intervention programs designed for a
specific group of college going individuals – “the false
beginners”. False beginners are those individuals who have
studied in English medium schools and colleges, who can read
and write the language, but whose speaking and listening
comprehension skills have been compromised. The programs do
not claim to teach non- English speakers how to speak, read
and write the language, but instead focuses on enhancing the
speaking and listening comprehension skills of the
abovementioned demographic. The activity-based curriculum is
designed around practicing functional skills, with grammar
and other formal attributes of the language being taught in
a masked form. The functionality of the curriculum is
industry agnostic as we believe that essential functional
skills can be leveraged across all industries and span the
length of an individuals career.
Content for the program has been designed by a group of
highly qualified individuals with several years of
experience in the fields of education and language
proficiency. The team has a thorough understanding of the
unique needs of the new generation of language users and
possesses a vision that enables them to create content that
is relevant to the global user. The trainers are a dynamic
group of people from all walks of life. Apart from their
spontaneity and breadth and depth of life experiences, they
bring a unique perspective on new and improved teaching
methods.
In addition to the first hand experience of the operational
